Merchandise orders, sizing, and shipping questions go through theOBX Tackle Facebook page. Have your order number handy — it is on your confirmation — and note that custom merchandise is made to order in 2-5 business days before it ships.
Charter captains: list or update a listing
Captains join the directory, or correct their boat and contact details, through thecharter listing form. Listings are free and readers book directly with you.
Fishing reports
Caught something worth posting? Send it through thefishing report form — reports from the community are what thereports hub reads from.
Corrections to the fishing information
Spotted an outdated regulation, a wrong pier fee, or a dead link in the species, town, or piers guides? Send the page and what changed through the Facebook page and it gets corrected — the site's information pages cite their sources and are updated when the underlying rules move.
Other channels
The Instagram and X accounts are the same @obxtackle profiles the site links throughout its footer — good for a quick hello, though Facebook stays the channel for anything about an order. The subscribe box in the footer of every page signs you up for email when new guides and site news land.
Order policy, in writing
Timelines and costs are already written down: the shipping policy covers the made-to-order production window, transit estimates, split shipments, and the seller of record; the returns policy covers what can be returned and how claims work. Reading those two pages first answers most order questions faster than a message does.
