The six feeds on this page
Every camera listed here is a live stream — an HLS feed that plays in your browser when you click it, loaded on demand so the rest of the page stays fast. The feeds come from the pier operators' own streams: Avalon Pier, Jennette's Pier, and the SurfChex network covering Hatteras Inlet, Avon Pier, and both Rodanthe angles (the fishing pier and the open surf). A feed that cannot load falls back to the operator's own site rather than sitting on a black box.
